Privacy Policy

This policy explains the information ShipTale processes to provide deployment monitoring, billing, support, and a secure account experience.

Scope

This policy applies to the ShipTale website and dashboard. It covers data we process when you create an account, use a workspace, connect an integration, purchase a plan, or contact support.

Information we process

  • Account and workspace information: your email address, profile information you provide, authentication state, and the workspaces and projects you create.
  • Integration information: the Vercel, Sentry, and Stripe credentials you choose to authorize, their configuration, and the provider data needed to show your ShipTale timeline and release context. ShipTale does not retain Sentry stack traces, breadcrumbs, or attachments.
  • Billing information: plan and subscription status supplied through Polar. Payment-card details are handled by Polar, not entered into ShipTale.
  • Support communications: information you include when you email or otherwise contact ShipTale for help.
  • Website analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate, cookieless measurements. If you opt in through Cookie settings, ShipTale also uses Google Analytics to measure website and dashboard use. It is not used to create advertising profiles.

How we use information

  • To authenticate you and operate your workspace and projects.
  • To retrieve, organize, and display the provider data you authorize for the ShipTale service.
  • To administer subscriptions, provide support, protect the service, and meet applicable operational obligations.
  • To understand aggregate website usage and, when you opt in, improve the public site and dashboard.

Service providers and integrations

ShipTale uses Supabase for authentication and database services, and Polar for subscription billing. When you authorize them, ShipTale also processes data from Vercel, Sentry, and Stripe to provide the integrations you selected. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices.

Cloudflare Web Analytics is used for aggregate, cookieless website analytics. Google Analytics is used only after you grant analytics consent through Cookie settings. ShipTale does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Security and retention

Provider credentials are encrypted at rest. ShipTale retains information only for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve support requests, meet applicable obligations, or handle a dispute. Disconnecting an integration removes its stored credentials.

Your requests

You can update account and workspace information in the dashboard, disconnect integrations, and manage a Polar subscription through its customer portal. You may also email [email protected] to request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of information associated with your account, or to ask a privacy question. We may need to verify the request and retain limited information where necessary for security or applicable obligations.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as ShipTale changes. The effective date at the top identifies when this version took effect.
